STEEL PANTHER announces concert in Toronto 2019

(Rockum)-Steel Panther have taken their parody of '80s glam metal to a whole new level. Through their undying commitment to sleazy lyrics, skin-tight leather, and genuine musical chops, the L.A band have now reached the same level of fame as a lot of the groups they're aping. They've headlined Wembley and have toured with the likes of Judas Priest and Guns N' Roses.

This year STEEL PANTHER will release their fifth studio album, "Heavy Metal Rules," on September 27. The new record which is described by their press as a "heavy metal version of a self-help manual and ultimate party album combined," was once again produced by Jay Ruston, who collaborated with the band on all of its previous recordings, including its latest LP, 2017's "Lower The Bar."

The group head out across North America including Toronto – Canada supporting the release of their new album and some of their biggest original songs, including metal hits from the '80s and their trademark delivery of comedy and high energy. The date will be Monday, December 2, 2019, at 7 PM. The venue is the Rebel - 11 POLSON ST. Toronto, ON

The band says: "'Heavy Metal Rules' is the ultimate party album. Anthem after anthem and hook after hook, the songs will provide the soundtrack to your new bitchin' heavy metal life. The first single, 'All I Wanna Do Is Fuck (Myself Tonight),' is the ultimate song about self-love and having a positive personal self-image. It is the kind of song you put on to get yourself in the mood whether you're getting ready to have sex with yourself or 17 girls in a row."

Vocalist Michael Starr recently stated about STEEL PANTHER's new LP: "You are gonna love this new group of songs. We have worked extremely hard, and it's paid off. Be prepared to have your nuts fucking rocked off. Ladies, get a towel, 'cause your tits are gonna explode, and it's gonna get messy. The future is bright!"

Eleven years ago, STEEL PANTHER changed its name from METAL SKOOL to its current moniker and shifted the focus of its act from '80s metal covers to originals.
