Long Island’s Frequency Overload storms the Metal scene with Fate Anthropic, a debut album that merges the brutality of Crossover Thrash with a unique Hardcore edge. This four-piece, featuring Corey Schaefer on guitar, Kevin Daily on drums, Steve Little on bass, and the energetic "Chokalist" Mr. Bush on vocals, brings together a diverse musical background, each member adding a vital layer to the band's signature sound.

From the first listen, Fate Anthropic feels like an intense and ferocious experience, elevated by the raw yet effective production and mastering of Joey Z, a genre legend from Life of Agony. The production is gritty and effective, particularly on tracks like “Love and Bullets” and “The Pain Factor,” where Joey Z also provides backing vocals, adding an extra layer of intensity.

Musically, Corey Schaefer balances technical complexity with aggressive passages, showcasing his extensive musical background that contributed to the album's natural flow, completed in just a year. Kevin Daily, grounded in Metallica-inspired classics, brings precise and powerful drumming that sets an intense, fast-paced framework when needed.

Vocally, Mr. Bush demonstrates versatility, ranging from deep growls to emotion-laden choruses, with lyrics that explore life’s darker sides without hesitation. This raw lyrical approach gives the album a personal and gritty touch that resonates in songs like “The Pain Factor,” delivering a message of struggle and resilience that complements the band's raw style.

Frequency Overload draws from a wide range of influences, from the power of Black Sabbath to the modernity of Lamb of God and Killswitch Engage. Though rooted in Metal, band members have also delved into Grunge and Rock/Reggae, which lets them innovate within Thrash’s boundaries. This variety shines through in the structure and rhythm of the songs, ranging from frenetic assaults to heavier, melodic moments.

With this debut, Frequency Overload sets a new standard in Crossover Thrash. Fate Anthropic is an album that not only defines the band but promises to become essential for fans of modern Metal. Blending brutality, authenticity, and finely tuned sound, Frequency Overload is here to stay and to shake up the Metal scene. There’s no doubt that the future holds great things for them, with their next steps promising to continue pushing boundaries.
