(Rockum) - Stray View is back with their third single via Hopeless Records since announcing their signing this past May, and it’s bringing an added dose of heaviness to the table. The band is crashing into the weekend with a raucous new track that will have fans listening on repeat, and at full volume. The band’s new chapter kicked off on a high note with their Hopeless Records debut, “Escape,” this spring which premiered on Sirius XM Octane & Pandora to high praise. After rising to fame as part of Crown The Empire, vocalist Dave Escamilla is stepping out on his own in a big way with a project that is all his own.

“This track’s instrumental was initially written by Brandon a while back. He sent it to me in early 2023 and I loved it particularly because it was the heaviest song he had sent me. Later down the line, we decided to have Lukas record drums for it and it ended up being the first song he recorded for Stray View. Which made the process even more exciting. So when we got to the vocal stage of recording, I ended up recording it last out all the songs we were working on because I really wanted to hone in on my vocals so I could deliver what I felt was needed. And I actually had Jake help write the chorus with me. I had written a few melodies that I wasn’t happy with and then when Jake showed me his idea, I was immediately sold and we collaborated on what resulted in the final melody. After that, It finally felt like the song was well rounded and complete.”
